This October, as we talk about Cybersecurity Month, the biggest threat to your business isn't a hypothetical new virus. It's an old, familiar operating system you are likely using right now: Windows 10.
As of October 14, 2025, Microsoft has officially and permanently ended all support for Windows 10.
This isn't a future problem or a warning. It's a fact. If your business computers are still running Windows 10, you are operating without a safety net. You are exposed—right now—to cyberattacks that Microsoft will no longer fix.
We need to be direct: "End of Support" means your business is an easy target. As of last week, any computer running Windows 10 is now a "zero-day" machine. This means:
- Hackers are Actively Hunting: Cybercriminals love this moment. They are actively searching for new security flaws in Windows 10, knowing with 100% certainty that a patch will never arrive. Businesses like yours are the low-hanging fruit.
- You Are Non-Compliant: If you handle any sensitive data—customer credit cards (PCI), patient records (HIPAA), or private employee information—you are almost certainly in violation of your compliance standards. The fines and reputational damage from a breach under these conditions can be company-ending.
- Downtime is Imminent: This is no longer about "if" a breach will happen, but "when." The cost of recovering from a ransomware attack, which can lock up your entire business, will be exponentially higher than the cost of a planned upgrade.
As your digital guide, we want to be clear about your next steps. "Doing nothing" is not a business strategy; it's a gamble you will lose.
- Upgrade Your Current PCs: Some of your computers might be able to run Windows 11, but many older devices are not compatible due to specific hardware requirements.
- Replace Your Hardware: For every machine that isn't compatible, the only secure path forward is a new computer. This is a capital expense, but it's a necessary one to protect your business. We can help you spec out a new machine, perform the setup and complete the migration.
Let us take this critical, urgent problem off your plate.
We are cybersecurity and migration experts. Our job is to move your business from "at-risk" to "secure" with minimal disruption to your workday. Don't let your company be a sitting duck.
Don't Wait,
Cyberthreats are Actively Evolving.
What will we do?
We will immediately assess your active risks, identify which machines can be upgraded and which must be replaced, and build a fast, secure transition plan to get your business protected.
